Leverich Park hosted a sold out crowd for the first ever PDGA sanctioned event in Southwest Washington. Representatives from The Columbian and the Vancouver/Clark Parks and Recreation Department were on hand for the event. The weather was perfect for February golfing and the course held up well to the traffic. The course was modified for the day to include 15 holes in order to accommodate a larger field of competitors.

The next events at the park are weekly Monday night league starting in March. Community and Sponsor Day on April 11th. There will be two PDGA sanctioned events this summer, the first in June and the second in August.
